Why do you want to join [HDL]?
I want a fun casual guild that still likes to raid a little bit. Plus, logging into WoW without seeing guild banter is super sad

What is your guild membership history? Why did you leave or want to leave?
I've got no real guild history on Zul'jin, but I transferred from Hydraxis at the very beginning of WotLK where I used to be class officer in a casual guild.

What do you want from a guild?
Fun people who can help each other out, instead of some jerk spamming recount and gearscore in a pug raid

Can you follow kill order?

Are you a Casual player, Raiding oriented player, or a PvP oriented player?  If you think you are a combination of any of those, what percentage of time would you spend on each?
I'm a casual player who likes to raid. I'll hit up bgs for fun, but arenas aren't my thang

Nope, but I can dedicate three most weeks. College is still the priority.

As long as the criticism isn't vicious, of course. I like to see big numbers flash above people's heads, and if you can help me make them bigger I'd love the help.

We do require Omen and Deadly Boss Mods. Do you have these installed?
Yes

What is your primary and secondary talent build? Which do you prefer?
Destro main, Afflic off. Currently I'm starting to switch over to affliction as being my main spec, as I like the slightly more complicated rotation. I've also been thinking about replacing one of the specs with Demonology for the Demonic Pact buff and soulfire spam.

What is your rotation for your primary and secondary builds?
Priority systems for both as follows

Destro: Lifetap rank1> immolate>conflagrate>chaos bolt> incinerate filler, keeping Conflagrate and chaos bolt on CD

Affliction: Shadowboltx2>haunt>Nevermelting Ice Crystal Trinket>corruption>Unstable affliction>curse of agony>shadowbolt filler (drain soul replaces shadowbolt under 25%, and I retrinket corruption under 25% on a boss fight)

Explain your gear choices, including gems and enchants.
I try and value stats in this order: hit>sp>haste>spirit=crit. I gem and enchant for pure spellpower mostly, unless I'm under the hit cap


PVP Questions

Ask the group if they want to do some gnome punting, if no one does, I'll just head into the instance

Battlegrounds, as I like trying to follow the objectives. Arenas are glorified duels, and I'm not much of a dueler

What is your favorite battleground? Why?
Probably either WSG or IoC. WSG because it's small and there's not as much chance to be ganged up on (warlocks are magnets for focus fire), plus fear spamming flag carriers is fun. IoC because there's something really epic about parachuting into a base and bombing the gate down.

Rank in important to stack for an Arena battle: Resilience, Attack Power/Spell Power, Critical Strike, Hit Rating.
Depends on the spec, but generally Resil, SP, hit to pvp cap, crit

How would you rate yourself as a World of Warcraft player?
I'm not wtfamzingpwnagebbqsauce, but in general I think I'm a pretty good player, and I'm always wanting to improve

Does .Net suck?
Don't know enough about it to say, but I can't think of any websites that are worthwhile that end in .net

Whiskey. Evan Williams was my jam this last summer.

What is your favorite instance? What is your favorite boss fight?
HoR is probably my favorite, just for the challenge. My favorite boss fight is probably Ick in PoS, it's fun dodging the poison, running away when pursued, etc.

Are you easily offended? Is your hot button race, religion, sex, or politics?
Generally I'm pretty laid back and have a good sense of humor. If someone says something that completely offends me though, I will let them know, but they would have to go pretty far.

Are you aware the [HDL] is largely a collection of angry and cynical players and under-geared toons?
Yep

Nothing huge comes to mind except maybe how gDKP runs generally work. Are these the main guild runs, or are these just PuGs on the side? Does gold function as DKP in a gDKP run? For us poor folks, are there non gDKP runs? Just a general clarification of how they operate would be cool.

The GDKP runs are not HDL Official Raid runs. These are arranged on the side by one of us. The way the gold plays into it is each item is opened for bids. Bids begin at 500 gold and the sky's the limit (i.e., no max bid). Once bidding's closed on an item, it's given to the winner (hopefully you). There aren't any main/off spec calls, if you want it, go for it!

HDL does run a couple 10-man groups weekly into ICC and there are PUG ICC 25 man groups also some of us hop into. There are a number of opportunities to join in on the raiding fun!

Yep, just as James said.  Our main raids are Tu/Thurs/Sun and Wed/Mon.  The loot is given out based on council decision.  The GDKP runs are bonus, PUG runs.

Also, if you had to choose: or ?  Your decision should not be taken lightly.

First of all, they are dog food cakes.  I think even fat free cookies are better than dog food.  Unless you think the general populace should be eating dog food, hmm?  And Mirfie is just a ploy to harp on peoples feelings.  If Pupcake was a true entrepreneur, he would be his own mascot.  As is, he is nothing but a leech to others' feelings.
