Want a @hordedefenseleague.org email address?

[HDL] members can get your own @hordedefenseleague.org email address. I set up an address for each of my toons; for example, kellanon@hordedefenseleague.org, nemhain@hordedefenseleague.org, and so on.

You can set up your email to forward to your main account. This way if you meet someone in the game to whom you want to give an email address that's easily remembered but not your real one, you can. Since this is hosted by Google's Gmail service, you can reply via the web or your email client.

I have also set up a Horde Defense League AIM Blast group.

AIM Blast is a new part of the AIM service. AIM Blast lets you have a group conversation or send an IM to multiple people at once just as you would a regular IM from your Buddy List, without having to set up a bot or a chat room.

You can also use your HDL address on a Jabber server to IM people.

If you want an HDL email address, but would rather it be sent to your existing email account, here are the steps:

• Log into the HDL email site at http://mail.google.com/a/hordedefenseleague.org/#inbox
• Click on Settings in the upper right corner: http://mail.google.com/a/hordedefenseleague.org/#settings
• Click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP: http://mail.google.com/a/hordedefenseleague.org/#settings/fwdandpop

At that point, it is self-explanatory.
